Rangers ace Jason Holt has praised Ibrox team-mate Carlos Pena.

Rangers midfielder Jason Holt has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he is delighted for team-mate Carlos Pena after his two goals against St Johnstone.
The Gers travelled to McDiarmid Park on Friday evening in search of another three points, and they got exactly what they wanted out of the game.
Pedro Caixinha’s side took the lead in the first half, when James Tavernier whipped in a cross from the right hand side, and Carlos Pena ghosted into the box to turn the ball home at the back post.

Pena made it 2-0 after the break, again latching on to a superb Tavernier cross, this time making a superb run to the back post to head home.
Jason Holt then teed up Graham Dorrans to make it 3-0 late in the day, giving Caixinha another away win, just weeks after Rangers beat Hamilton 4-1 on the road.
This was Pena’s best display in a Rangers shirt yet, as the midfielder has struggled to settle down and play his best football since arriving from Chivas Guadalajara in his native Mexico over the summer.
Against St Johnstone though, fans got to see just why Caixinha wanted to sign him, as he offers a major goal threat from midfield, possessing the ability to time his runs in to the box.

Now, Rangers team-mate Holt has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he feels Pena has been great, and is working ‘extremely hard’ in training – and wants to see him hit double figures in goals this season.
“He has done great, and on [Friday] he scored another couple of goals so I am delighted for him,” said Holt. “He is working extremely hard in training and it is good when the results like that pay off. He is like the rest of us and working extremely hard. The togetherness, we are all in it together and we work hard as a unit. I am delighted for him to get his rewards.”
“I hope [he can hit double figures]. He gets in great positions on the park and he got his two goals, but he was in there sniffing about another couple of chances so I am sure he will go on to score many more,” he added.
