Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani has been targeted by Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur – but he’s now set for a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bild report that Frankfurt have finally agreed a deal to sign Kolo Muani after weeks of haggling with Nantes over a cash deal.

Instead, Frankfurt have now agreed to sign Kolo Muani this summer, handing him a pre-contract agreement.

Kolo Muani’s Nantes deal ends this summer, so he is free to pick a new club – and he has chosen a move to Germany.

It’s stated that Kolo Muani will head to Frankfurt next week for a medical with a five-year deal agreed.

Barring any last-gasp hitches, Kolo Muani will finally become a Frankfurt player – and leave Liverpool and Tottenham empty-handed.

Foot Mercato reported in October that Tottenham had initiated contact with Kolo Muani’s representatives.

Fabio Paratici was seemingly keen to land Kolo Muani on a pre-contract agreement, but that hasn’t happened.

Maybe Antonio Conte’s arrival as manager changed Tottenham’s plans, as the links to Kolo Muani have slowed down of late.

As for Liverpool, Bild’s latest report claims they were fighting Frankfurt in the race for the striker’s signature.

Bild first broke news of Liverpool’s interest in signing Kolo Muani earlier this month, with the Reds seeking attacking reinforcements.

Kolo Muani has impressed this season, bagging seven goals and two assists in 20 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes.

At just 23, the speedy and versatile attacker should have a very bright future ahead of him, with Frankfurt no doubt celebrating a real coup.

For Liverpool and Tottenham, this was likely just exploring a cheap signing who could add some depth in attack.

Paratici and Michael Edwards probably aren’t losing too much sleep about this one, but we’ll soon see if Kolo Muani lives up to the hype in Germany.
