Leeds United midfielder Ronaldo Vieira has been hailed by Lee Johnson.

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has been quoted by The Express as saying that he felt Leeds United midfielder Ronaldo Vieira ‘ran the show’ in Saturday’s meeting between the two teams.
Leeds travelled to Ashton Gate in desperate need of a result, having lost three of their previous four games as manager Thomas Christiansen attempted to get his side back on track.
By switching to a 4-3-3 system, Christiansen saw his side hit back in style, with Samu Saiz scoring twice in the first half before Pierre-Michel Lasogga headed home a third in the second half.

Gaetano Berardi’s red card for a spat with Robins striker Matty Taylor – who was also sent off – was a minor blot on the Leeds copy book, but Christiansen will mostly be delighted with the display.
As part of his altered 4-3-3 system, Christiansen brought Ronaldo Vieira in for his first league start of the season, sticking him in midfield alongside Eunan O’Kane and Kalvin Phillips – and his decision was vindicated.
Vieira, 19, produced a superb display in the heart of the Leeds midfield, leaving fans questioning just why he hasn’t started a league game this term before the game, though tendonitis is understood to be one reason.

A Leeds academy product with a huge future ahead of him, Vieira should now settle down this season and play a key role under Christiansen, and whilst the Leeds boss is surely delighted with the teenager’s display, his opposing manager has had words of praise too.
As quoted by The Express, Bristol City boss Lee Johnson praised Leeds for their display, before suggesting that Vieira ‘ran the show’ in midfield for Leeds, admitting that the youngster impressed him at Ashton Gate, summing up just why Vieira is so highly thought of.
“Credit to Leeds,” said Johnson. “They were on the front foot, they defended well and had energy. We played into their hands too much. Overall, it was a bad day at the office for us. We were weak today and that is not usually the case. I thought Vieira ran the show,” he added.
