Arsenal are likely to pursue at least one new goalkeeper this summer, but could have predicted a move for Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale.
The Gunners have question marks over the future of Bernd Leno, whilst Mat Ryan’s loan is over and Runar Runarsson simply isn’t of the quality Arsenal need.
A number of stoppers have been linked, and a new rumour emerged a couple of days ago in the form of Ramsdale.
Arsenal’s interest in Ramsdale
The Sun reported that Arsenal now want to sign Ramsdale from relegated Sheffield United, with Edu looking to make his move.
Ramsdale has suffered relegation in successive seasons with Bournemouth and Sheffield United, but the Gunners seemingly feel that he has real potential.
Ramsdale, 23, is in the England squad at Euro 2020 and would allegedly cost around £20million to prise away from the Blades.

Arsenal fans have their say
Arsenal fans have been taking to Twitter to offer their reactions to the rumours, and it’s no great surprise that they’re not too impressed.
Some think that Arsenal would be in danger of becoming ‘Midtable FC’ if this kind of deal goes through, even praying that Ramsdale rejects them.
Others think there was no point in selling Emiliano Martinez last summer if they’re just going to buy Ramsdale now, and don’t want big money spend on him – especially with Andre Onana available for a cheaper fee.
