Ramsdale reacts to what Arsenal have posted on Twitter after big news

Aaron Ramsdale is one of four Arsenal players to earn a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad.

The selection was announced today and the exceptional Arsenal goalkeeper, along with Bukayo Saka, Ben White and Emile Smith Rowe, was included.

Ramsdale is having a sensational season in North London following a £30 million move to the Gunners last summer.

And with Jordan Pickford in something of a relegation battle at Everton at the moment, there’s a genuine dilemma for Southgate.

Does he blood Ramsdale during the upcoming internationals this month, with one eye on the World Cup in Qatar later this year, or stick with the tried-and-tested Pickford who has impressed in each of the Three Lions’ two major tournaments under Southgate.

Who knows?

What we do know is that Arsenal are proud of their English contingent and they acknowledged all four call-ups on Twitter this afternoon.

However, the 23-year-old goalkeeper noticed that the club’s social media admin couldn’t find a picture of him representing his country.
