Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has praised West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen on Sky Sports Premier League (6:36pm, May 1, 2022) following the Premier League game at London Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have got the better of West Ham 2-1 away from home in the league this afternoon.
Ramdale had a good game between the posts for the Gunners in the London derby.
The goalkeeper has praised West Ham attacker Bowen for holding his hands up and admitting that there was no foul when the two players came together.
The incident happened in the second half, and referee Mike Dean booked Bowen for the dive.

Aaron Ramsdale on Jarrod Bowen
Ramsdale said about Bowen on Sky Sports Premier League (6:36pm, May 1, 2022): “I didn’t touch him. I spoke to him.
“He is a good lad. I didn’t actually touch him at all. He was honest. He jumped straight back up and said, ‘No, no, no. It wasn’t a foul’. Fair play to him.”
Encouraging
In our opinion, it is very encouraging to see Bowen admit that he dived in the incident involving Ramsdale.
The West Ham star did not complain when he was booked.
He could have easily kicked up a fuss and tried to plead his case.
However, Bowen knew that he was in the wrong, and that he admitted it to Ramsdale shows his character and what a honest footballer he is.
We need more players such as Bowen in the game.
