Mohamed Salah scored for Liverpool against Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Stoke City youngster Ramadan Sobhi was impressed.

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been in great form this season, and the Egypt international was a key figure in the Reds’ win against Manchester City on Tuesday evening.
The 25-year-old scored in the 56th minute of the second leg Champions League quarter-final tie against Premier League rivals City at the Etihad Stadium.
The former Chelsea winger had also scored for the Reds in the first leg at Anfield last week, as Jurgen Klopp’s side progressed to the semi-finals of Europe’s premier club competition 5-1 on aggregate.
Stoke City youngster Ramadan Sobhi was following the match on Tuesday evening, and the 21-year-old was impressed with the performance of his Egypt international teammate.

Sobhi, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, reacted to Salah’s goal against City at the Etihad Stadium on social networking site Twitter by suggesting that he should win the Ballon d’Or – an idea that Liverpool fans will love.
Salah has scored 29 goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League and has scored eight goals and provided two assists in the Champions League so far this season.
Interestingly, Sobhi has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, with TEAMtalk claiming last month that the Reds are interested in the youngster, who is reported to be valued at £15 million by Stoke.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool duo Charlie Adam – now at Stoke – and Dominic Matteo were impressed with the performance of Reds midfielder James Milner against City.
