Ralf Rangnick is very keen on becoming the new manager of Newcastle United, according to The Chronicle.
What’s the story?
The Chronicle have reported that Rangnick wants to get the Newcastle managerial job.
Steve Bruce is still in charge of the Premier League club.
However, it is very unlikely that Bruce will stay in the role at St. James’ Park for much longer.
The report has added that Rangnick, 63, has told his friends that ‘he has already been sketching ideas for his vision at Newcastle’.
The 63-year-old German reportedly believes that he can win the Premier League title with Newcastle in three years.
The report in The Chronicle has added that there has been no contact yet.
Lokomotiv Moscow have also denied speculation that Rangnick could leave, as reported by Sport RU.

We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
The 63-year-old German is working as Head of Sports and Development at Russian club Lokomotiv at the moment.
Exciting for Newcastle United fans
Rangnick is a well-respected manager who has been in charge of clubs such as RB Leipzig, Schalke and 1899 Hoffenheim.
The 63-year-old has won eight major trophies as a manager, including two Austrian league titles with RB Salzburg.
Now, of course, it is quite a bold vision to win the Premier League title in three years with Newcastle.
But, we have to admire Rangnick’s reported ambition and confidence.
