Former Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick thinks Tottenham Hotspur would be a great move for Julian Nagelsmann.
Rangnick has been speaking to Sky Germany about Nagelsmann as he weighs up his next move.
Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich in March and immediately replaced with Thomas Tuchel.
That hasn’t exactly helped Bayern though, as they continue to stumble this season.
Nagelsmann was thought to be the hot favourite for the Chelsea job, but he backed away from that position last week.
That may well leave Tottenham as the favourites to land Nagelsmann following Antonio Conte’s exit.
Spurs look like a complete mess right now but Nagelsmann has been urged to consider a move to North London.
Rangnick, who worked with Nagelsmann at RB Leipzig, believes Tottenham are a ‘very exciting’ proposition.
Speaking to Sky Sports Germany, Rangnick suggested that Tottenham should appeal to Nagelsmann because of their stadium, facilities and the presence of Daniel Levy.
Rangnick does think that Tottenham need a sporting director to work alongside Nagelsmann but he likes the fit for the German, believing it would be ideal to move to a club who don’t immediately expect a title challenge.
“I think Tottenham is an exciting club in many ways,” said Rangnick. “They probably have one of the most modern, beautiful stadiums in the world at the moment. They have one of the best training centres, that is there at the moment and Daniel Levy, who has been leading the club for many, many years.”
“If Tottenham really want him, then I think it would be important if a sporting director was still there to support him.”
“It can be a very, very exciting story. There is room for improvement, a lot of room for improvement and yet this is not a club where the house expects you to be in the top one or two right away,” he added.

Daniel Levy thinks he can bring Julian Nagelsmann to Tottenham
The chaos at Tottenham has left many doubting that Nagelsmann would consider a move to Spurs.
Daniel Levy doesn’t appear to feel the same way though.
TalkSPORT reported earlier this week that Levy seriously believes that he can tempt Nagelsmann to Spurs.
The German snubbing Chelsea has given Tottenham a glimmer of hope that a deal can be done.
Tottenham would still have to make a raft of promises to Nagelsmann, especially in terms of transfers.
Nagelsmann’s former mentor Rangnick is now recommending the move though and that’s great news for Tottenham as they chase a major coup.
