Leeds United could soon welcome Izzy Brown back to the first team.

Leeds United loanee Izzy Brown could be in the first team as soon as December, the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Brown returned for the under-23s last week, a major step in his recovery from a torn ACL.

The Chelsea loanee’s return is a major boost to Leeds, and not only for what he can bring to the side.

Purely the threat of Brown’s introduction to the side can act as a major boost to the side’s attackers.

Competition is always good for any team and Brown raises the bar.

The likes of Samu Saiz, Ezgjan Alioski, and Jack Harrison must all step up their game, and Pablo Hernandez must not let him high level of performances drop.

Brown will be a real asset for Leeds, and his teammates know that if they do not perform over the next two to three weeks, then they risk being axed to make way for the Chelsea owned attacker.

Leeds are in third place in the Championship after a strong start to the season.

Their players must show Marcelo Bielsa that he does not need to rush to bring Brown in.

They know even more now that if they underperform, a spell on the sidelines beckon.
