Reacting to the closing sequence in the X post, Parsons made his frustration clear.

“This needs to be investigated bro ! I can’t lie I’m raging rn!” Parsons said.

The reaction came after a chaotic final possession where Duke lost control of the ball, allowing UConn one last chance. What followed was one of the wildest finishes of the tournament.

Parsons’ anger reflected how quickly the game turned. A single mistake completely changed the outcome. That moment instantly became one of the biggest talking points of the Elite Eight.

The game, played on March 29, 2026, ended in a 73-72 win for UConn after a stunning late sequence.

Duke had controlled large parts of the game and even built a 19-point lead in the first half. However, UConn mounted a full comeback in the second half to keep the game within reach.

In the final seconds, Duke committed a costly turnover while trying to close out the win. That mistake gave UConn one last possession.

Freshman Braylon Mullins then hit a deep three-pointer from around 35 feet with just 0.4 seconds remaining, completing the comeback and sending UConn to the Final Four.
