West Ham United are reportedly keen on signing the Barcelona star.

According to a report from Spanish media out Mundo Deportivo, West Ham have shown the strongest interest in signing Barcelona star Rafinha, and if Manuel Pellegrini does in fact manage to bring him to the London Stadium, it could turn out to be a quite phenomenal coup for the Hammers.
The 25-year-old has been heavily tipped to leave Barca this summer, having spent last season on loan an Inter Milan, and he has been deemed surplus to requirements by Ernesto Valverde.
That is not to say that Rafinha is not a truly top-class performer, though, and he would undoubtedly bring a lot to West Ham’s setup.

The Brazilian can play on either flank, in the number 10 position, anywhere across the midfield, or even as an auxiliary centre-forward, and that kind of versatility could prove to be vital for the Hammers.
According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Rafinha is available this summer for just €35 million (£31.2 million) – a real bargain in today’s day and age.

The Barca ace also has extensive experience in playing at the very highest level for such a prolonged period of time – something that would surely be a real asset for West Ham.

With Manuel Lanzini having been ruled out for the entirety of the season, Rafinha’s creativity and nouse in the final third would more than help fill the void left behind by the Argentine, and if the Hammers somehow manage to convince him to move to east London, it could turn out to be a magnificent coup for the club.
