The Real Madrid ace has already been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

When speaking exclusively to Cadena Ser, Rafael van der Vaart suggested that Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale should consider making a return to Tottenham as he continues to struggle at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Welshman left Spurs for Madrid in the summer of 2013, for what was a then world record fee of £85.3 million, and he has since gone on to chalk up 101 goals and 63 assists in 221 appearances in all competitions, whilst winning four Champions League winner’s medals in the process.
So it is hard to argue that his move away from Tottenham was not the right decision.
The 29-year-old has experienced problems recently, however, and he is not considered to be an automatic starter under Santiago Solari.
Bale is still under contract with Los Blancos until the summer of 2022, and the Independent reported last summer how Spurs were ready to launch an audacious bid to sign their former player.
And Van der Vaart suggested that the Wales international should consider rejoining Tottenham, when speaking exclusively to Cadena Ser:

“Perhaps he should leave but I think he wants to stay at Real Madrid and play more. But I believe that a team like Manchester United or a return to Tottenham would be better for him because people in England are different to those in Spain.”
Bale’s wage demands would obviously be a problem for Tottenham, and some sort of compromise would have to be reached if a deal were to ever happen.
The more the Welshman struggles in Madrid, however, the more chance Spurs have of prising him away from the Spanish capital.
