Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has celebrated Jose Mourinho’s side’s victory over Arsenal on Twitter.
Van Der Vaart, who had a great record in North London derbies, was delighted to see Tottenham take the three points yesterday, as they beat Arsenal 2-1.
And he quickly took to social media at full-time to celebrate the success of his former side.
Tottenham actually went behind against Arsenal yesterday, but they fought back well to claim the three points.
Spurs firstly scored through Heung-Min Son, who chipped the ball over the onrushing Emi Martinez, after a defensive error from Arsenal.
The Lilywhites then netted what proved to be the winner late on, as Toby Alderweireld headed in from a corner.
The victory has relieved some of the pressure building on Mourinho and moved Tottenham ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table again.
Spurs are next in action on Wednesday evening, when they take on Newcastle United.
