Rafael van der Vaart, Jesus Perez and Glenn Hoddle have all celebrated Tottenham Hotspur’s victory over Manchester City on Twitter.

Tottenham made it through in the Champions League yesterday in what was one of the most dramatic nights of football seen in recent memory.

Spurs made it through on away goals, after losing 4-3 in a pulsating game at the Etihad Stadium.

And their former players were queuing up to congratulate Mauricio Pochettino’s side on social media.

Tottenham’s assistant manager Jesus Perez also showed his elation at getting through in Europe.

Spurs are now set to face Ajax in the semi-final of the Champions League at the end of the month.

Tottenham’s progress has been remarkable, with key players out injured, but Pochettino’s side will now have their eyes firmly locked on making their first ever Champions League final.
