Newcastle United won against Everton today.

While Newcastle are fighting for survival in the Premier League at the moment, Everton are aiming to finish seventh in the standings.
The Magpies are unlikely to go down to the Championship at the end of the season, while the Toffees are likely to miss out on the seventh or even the eighth post.
Newcastle manager Benitez has suggested that the Magpies should be aiming to reach the level of Everton.
Benitez told The Daily Mail: “Looking at the bigger picture, I think we have the potential to be at the same level as Everton.
“I don’t think it’s impossible to compete against some of the top six. But these positions from seventh to 10th, I think there are four or five big clubs who can be there, depending on whether you do things right.”

Stunning comeback
Newcastle actually won against Everton today, launching a stunning comeback from 2-0 down to get the better of the Toffees 3-2.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave Everton the lead at St. James’ Park after just 18 minutes, and Richarlison doubled the advantage for the Toffees on 32 minutes.
Newcastle halved the deficit on 65 minutes through Salomon Rondon, and Ayoze Perez found the net first in the 81st minute and then on 84 minutes to make it 3-2.
