Newcastle United have brought in Salomon Rondon on a loan deal from West Bromwich Albion.

Rondon has joined Newcastle on loan from West Brom and he appears to be hitting form now.
The Venezuelan made a slow start at St. James’ Park, with injury halting his progress.
However, in recent weeks, the £12 million striker (BBC Sport) has been at his best and he helped Newcastle win 1-0 against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Rondon tapped in from close range to complete a flowing move from the Magpies to score the winner at the weekend.
And when asked whether Newcastle will be able to sign the striker on a more long-term basis, Benitez seemed positive.

He said: “It will be fine. Hopefully he can start scoring a lot of goals, and then you can ask me this in a few weeks and hopefully it can be positive then, too.”
Newcastle’s deal to bring Rondon in from West Brom saw Dwight Gayle go to the Hawthorns, and the transfer seems to have worked for everyone involved.
Gayle has been in fine form since joining West Brom, and a swap deal could become a possibility in the summer.
