Liverpool are chasing a double under Jurgen Klopp.

Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez has told Radio MARCA that he thinks Jurgen Klopp is ‘doing a great job’ at Liverpool, believing that the Reds are there on their own merits.
Liverpool claimed a huge victory at Anfield on Sunday, beating Chelsea 2-0 thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah as they matched Manchester City’s win at Crystal Palace.
The two teams are claiming win after win in the battle for the Premier League title, and Liverpool have avoided a few banana skins of late in Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and now Chelsea.
Liverpool are two points clear of City but Pep Guardiola’s men have a game in hand, meaning there may well be a number of twists and turns before the end of the season.
Tonight, Liverpool must turn their focus back to the Champions League, as they play the second leg of their quarter final clash with Porto, leading 2-0 from the first leg.
Despite showing both great football and the grit to win, any have suggested that Liverpool have been getting ‘lucky’ with decisions, especially offsides, whilst Mohamed Salah has been slammed for diving – and receiving little punishment.

However, ex-Reds boss Benitez has hailed Klopp for doing a ‘great job’ at Anfield, adding that Liverpool are in such a great position to win two trophies on their own merits, despite that criticism.
“He is a clear candidate to win both titles, they have the potential to do it,” said Benitez. “Klopp is doing a great job, they are there on their own merits,” he added.
