Newcastle United have been linked with Japanese ace Ritsu Doan.

Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez has told The Chronicle that the club don’t know their January transfer targets just yet despite talk of a bid for Groningen’s Ritsu Doan.
The Magpies beat Huddersfield Town 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to make it four wins in the last seven Premier League games.
Benitez does still need reinforcements in the January transfer window, with a number 10 desperately needed to support Salomon Rondon in attack.
Atlanta United’s Miguel Almiron is the main name in the frame for Newcastle, but another attacking midfielder has been touted for a move to Tyneside.
The Chronicle reported last week that Newcastle are keen on Groningen star Doan, with a potential January move in the pipeline.
Doan, 20, has hit four goals and two assists in the Eredivisie this season, and looks set for a bright future over the coming years.

An international teammate of Yoshinori Muto with Japan, Doan is an exciting talent – and Benitez is coy about a move to sign him.
Benitez has suggested that Newcastle don’t know their January targets yet, but having been asked about Doan a number of times, he wasn’t able to rule out a move for the youngster next month.
“Normally, we don’t talk about players. But, in this case, I’m telling you that we’re not talking about anyone at the moment,” said Benitez. “We have to have a meeting, maybe, and then we’ll see our targets then, maybe. People have been asking me about him (Doan), but we don’t know (our targets) yet,” he added.
