Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has not made a Premier League start in 2019.

Rafael Benitez will give an indication over Jonjo Shelvey’s future at Newcastle United with his team selection at the weekend.
Shelvey was one of the stars of Newcastle’s season last term, but he has struggled for game time towards the back half of this campaign.
Shelvey has not started a single league game in the Premier League so far in 2019.
The 27-year-old is already facing question marks over his future at Newcastle, ahead of the summer transfer window.
But he may have a chance to end any speculation, if Benitez picks him at the weekend.
Newcastle could be short of options in midfield when they take on Crystal Palace, as isaac Hayden is nursing a hip problem.

And if Shelvey does come into the team then it may be a chance for him to save his Newcastle career.
However, if Benitez continues to leave Shelvey out, even with his options short, then it would appear that the former Liverpool man’s time at St. James’ Park could be coming to an end.
