Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez praises Sean Longstaff.

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez has revealed on the club’s official Twitter page that a lot of teams have asked about signing Sean Longstaff on loan in the January transfer window.
Benitez has also praised the 21-year-old midfielder and has hailed the English youngster’s professionalism.
Newcastle United stay
Longstaff has made only a handful of appearances for the Newcastle first team so far in his career, and the youngster has also been out on loan at Kilmarnock and Blackpool.
Benitez’s aforementioned comments suggest that he is not going to let the youngster leave on loan in the January transfer window, and that the midfielder is going to be part of the first team for the second half of the season.

With Newcastle in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, Benitez does need all the good players in his squad, and Longstaff could make a difference for the team.
Newcastle will take on Cardiff City at St. James’ Park in the Premie League on Saturday afternoon.
