Newcastle United finally picked up their first win of the season at the weekend.

Newcastle went into their game against Watford without a win in any competition.
However, the Magpies fans had continued to turn up to St. James’ Park in great numbers.
Newcastle supporters had also done well not to get on the back of their players or manager.
And Benitez insists that Newcastle’s loyal supporters do not go unnoticed by the squad.
He said: “When you are in a better position in the table the players will have more confidence.
“During the week we spoke about the fans and how fantastic they had been during the season so far.
“To be fair I say that every game.

“But when things have been so difficult you have to manage and the fans realise you need them.
“They were really, really good for the players.”
Thankfully for Newcastle they did finally get their first three point haul of the campaign at the weekend.
Benitez’s side managed to get past the challenge of Watford, with Ayoze Perez scoring the only goal of the game.
Newcastle are now out of the Premier League relegation zone, with their next match coming against Bournemouth.
