Newcastle United will play in the Premier League next season.

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez has told The Chronicle that the fans have been amazing with him.
Benitez made the comments following the confirmation of Newcastle’s promotion back to the Premier League.
The Magpies, who got relegated from the English top flight at the end of last season, have ascertained their place in the top two of the Championship.

Former Liverpool and Chelsea manager Benitez has spoken highly of the Newcastle fans following the 4-1 victory over Preston North End at St. James’ Park in the league on Monday evening.
“My feelings when I walked on the pitch were similar to what I have been feeling all year,” Benitez told The Chronicle.
“The fans have been amazing with me, their loyalty and everything it means to being a top team like this, with the city behind you.
“That is why I decided to stay, and now I am even happier than before that I made this decision. I am really proud and really pleased.”
Benitez is a brilliant manager, and the work he has done at Newcastle has been superb. It is not easy to a guide a club back into the Premier League the season after getting relegated, but the Spaniard has done just that.
Newcastle are one of the biggest clubs of England and have some of the best fans in the country. Even in the Championship, the Magpies have packed St. James’ Park for home matches.
The Premier League would be a better league next season with Newcastle among the 20 teams.
