Rafa Mir has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Rafa Mir has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his debut for the Championship club at the weekend.

Mir featured for Wolves in their FA Cup third-round tie against Swansea City at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 20-year-old forward did not start the tie against the Premier League club, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 77th minute.

It was the Spaniard’s debut for the Wanderers, having joined the Championship side from La Liga outfit Valencia in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Mirror to be worth £2 million.

Mir has taken to Twitter to express his delight at making his debut for Wolves and has thanked the fans.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Wolves had 47% of the possession, took 14 shots of which seven were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
