Exciting Wolves attacker Rafa Mir says he is open to joining Las Palmas on loan.

Spanish outlet Zona Amarilla report Las Palmas are hoping to sign Mir on loan until the end of the season.

Quizzed about the possibility by Diario De Las Palmas, Mir says he would be willing to make the move to the Gran Canaria based club.

Mir said: “I am attracted to the project that UD Las Palmas is designing, it is very attractive, who would not like to play in the Canary Islands? Of course I am attracted by the possibility.”

Wolves signed Mir from Valencia last season where he was top scorer for their B team, and beat off heavy competition for his signature.

So far he has struggled to make the breakthrough and Wolves’ promotion raises the bar further.

Mir needs to start playing competitive football so a loan move would be sensible all round if he is not in Nuno Santo’s immediate plans.
