Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has warned his team not to underestimate Rotherham United, speaking to the Chronicle.
The Magpies have made a strong start to life in the Championship, with 19 points from their first ten games.
They were busy picking up all three points in midweek as they secured a late, confidence-boosting win over promotion rivals Norwich City.

As a result, they head into today’s game against Rotherham United, who sit bottom of the table, confident of securing all three points.
But their manager has warned that they cannot afford to underestimate Alan Stubbs’ team in any regard.
“I told our players about what people were saying after the Queens Park Rangers game when we played Wolves,” he told the Chronicle.
“People said we had to win the next one easily. So that’s a good experience from recently for us. We don’t underestimate our rivals.”
“With their fans behind them, they can be dangerous. So we have to make sure we go there and are prepared for a tough game.”

While Benitez is keen to ensure his side does not take anything for granted, a look at the stats shows that it should be a routine afternoon for his team.
So far they have they have won more tackles and interceptions per game than Rotherham, while they have also posted more big chances created and shots on target per game.
Unfortunately for the Magpies, though, football matches are not won by stats and they will need another Norwich-esque performance to ensure they are winners again.
