Leeds United have their fair share of famous fans, but what on earth was Jon Bon Jovi doing in a Leeds shirt?!
From the Kaiser Chiefs to Russell Crowe, to Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau bigging up Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds are pretty popular.
On Wednesday night though, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani baffled fans by posting a tweet about Bon Jovi.
The tweet showed Bon Jovi donning a Leeds tracksuit, with Radrizzani claiming that the badge looked ‘shining’ on him.
Radrizzani added that he will see Bon Jovi at Elland Road next season, adding another layer to this rather strange story.
What history does Bon Jovi have with Leeds? Well, this may go back to last season.
Patrick Bamford admitted that he was a big Bon Jovi fan, and as he was going through some struggles in front of goal, talkSPORT tried to help out.
Bon Jovi sent a message to Bamford, attempting to encourage the striker as Leeds pushed for promotion to the Premier League.
Bamford responded by calling him an absolute legend, with Leeds fans not quite being able to believe what they were seeing.
Now it looks like Bon Jovi is fully on board as a Leeds fan and he’ll be in West Yorkshire to watch them next season. Who saw that coming?!
