Leeds missed out on signing Dan James.

Leeds United missed out on their one and only transfer deadline day target.
Dan James’ proposed move to Elland Road fell through, with Swansea City issuing a statement saying the two clubs could not agree terms.
This was a big disappointment for Leeds, who had been determined to add the winger.
Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani posted on Twitter after the transfer deadline passed, expressing his disappointment.
He also responded to a Leeds supporter who asked why the club did not move to sign James earlier.
Radrizzani said that if Leeds could have done, they would have signed James right away.
The point Radrizzani did not address was the question about whether Leeds should have gone for other players
This of course was a decision made by headstrong manager Marcelo Bielsa, who had made clear it was James or nobody. And so it proved.
