Leeds United’s plan for a new badge has taken a blow.

Leeds United have been hitting the headlines this week for the wrong reasons. The Championship club produced a new crest, but they soon had to scrap it and start afresh.
The West Yorkshire outfit unveiled the new badge on Wednesday to make the club’s centenary in 2019 and it was supposed to be used from the start of next season, but fans on social media media were firmly against it and severely criticised it.
Leeds managing director Angus Kinnear subsequently told BBC Radio Leeds that the club will consult on the crest again and will make further changes if necessary.
The club’s owner, Andrea Radrizzani, has now broken his silence on the issue by responding to a Leeds fan’s tweet about a new badge on.

Leeds are 10th in the Championship table at the moment with 43 points from 28 matches.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are only three points behind Sheffield United, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
The Whites will take on Hull City away from home in the Championship next Tuesday evening.
