Tottenham Hotspur take on Liverpool in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Inter Milan midfielder Radja Nainggolan has told Tuttomercatoweb that seeing Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final ‘certainly hurts’.
Spurs miraculously saw off Ajax in the semi-finals of the competition, coming from 3-0 down on aggregate with 45 minutes to go to go through on away goals.
They meet Premier League rivals Liverpool in the final in Madrid this Saturday, and will be hoping for one more magical story having already carved out an unbelievable path to the final.
In the group stage, Spurs look dead and buried having taken just one point from the first three games, but late wins against PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan gave them hope.
Lucas Moura’s late equaliser against Barcelona sent Spurs through as Inter could only draw with PSV Eindhoven, meaning Tottenham progressed despite being level on points with Inter.
Tottenham went through having scored more away goals in games against Inter, meaning one goal was the difference in the end, so Spurs could have easily been out in the group stage, never mind the semi-finals.

Now, Inter’s big-name midfielder Nainggolan has reflected on Inter’s season, and admitted that the big regret of the campaign was going out in the group stage of the Champions League.
Nainggolan noted that seeing Spurs in the final having finished level on points with them ‘certainly hurts’, feeling that it could have been Inter in the final this weekend instead.
“You are the journalists. I have to think about working well, to give my best for the team like all my teammates do, then there are positive and less positive things,” said Nainggolan. “I think we have only one regret, speaking of the team, and it is the exit in the Champions League because going on equal points with Tottenham and then seeing him in the final is something that certainly hurts a little,” he added.
