The former Manchester United loanee made his debut for Jose Mourinho’s side against Paris Saint-Germain in a pre-season friendly match in Charlotte on Sunday.
Following the game, which ended in a penalty shootout win for Chelsea, Falcao took to Twitter to express his job at having featured for the London outfit.
Recovering from Manchester United disappointment
The upcoming 2015-16 campaign will be hugely important in the career of Falcao, who will determined to prove that he can return to his best.
The former Atletico Madrid striker had a torrid time last season at United, whom he joined from Monaco on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2014.
The 29-year-old managed to score just four goals and created only 18 chances in 26 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils during the 2014-15 season.
Falcao had a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 55%, and won 19 headers, 13 dribbles and nine tackles.
