The Scottish Sun claim that La Liga sides Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad have joined the race to sign Celtic defender Josip Juranovic – with the right-back expected to leave in January after the signing of Alistair Johnston.
The 27-year-old has impressed in Qatar, playing every minute of Croatia’s campaign – which has seen them reach the quarter-finals. But his future at Celtic remains in doubt. The Mail say that Chelsea and Manchester United are keen.
90Min then said West Ham and David Moyes wanted to lure him south. Now, he could even go to Spain. Diego Simeone and Moyes’ old side Sociedad are keeping an eye on the Croatia ace. A fee is likely to cost more than £10m.
The Sun say that Ange Postecoglou is prepared to sell Juranovic, just 18 months after luring him to Parkhead for a bargain £2million. Daily Star reporter Paul Brown recently told GMS that it is likely he heads to a Premier League club.

The more clubs the better, for Celtic. While they may have only hoped to get around £10million for Juranovic initially, interest from numerous teams means they can entice a bidding war – ramping up the fee they rake in for Juranovic.
Of course, his form at the World Cup will help do that. He has been excellent in a Croatia side that seem to be getting better with every game. Not at full tilt just yet, but doing enough in each round to progress. Penalties, against Japan.
In an ideal world, Celtic would keep him at Parkhead. But they know that Juranovic will be keen to leave next month, with interest from some of Europe’s biggest sides. So, now it is about bringing in as much cash as possible for him.
