Watford manager Quique Sánchez Flores will be hoping to pounce on Tottenham Hotspur’s recent misery and hopefully pick up their first win of the season on Saturday.

Quique Sánchez Flores has claimed that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been the ‘the best coach in the Premier League for the past four years’,
There’s no doubt that Pochettino has done a remarkable with Spurs, but there will be certain fans from other Premier League clubs, such as Liverpool and Manchester City, who will no doubt disagree with his comments.
The timing of Sánchez Flores’ comments perhaps puts a dampener on what he is saying because of the form Tottenham have been recently, but considering what Pochettino has had to work with compared with his rivals over the years, he has to be applauded.
Speaking to Sky Sports News (17/10/2019 14:00 pm), these were the perhaps controversial yet bold comments made by the Watford boss about his managerial counterpart, who he has no doubt has admired for some time now.
“He is the best coach in the Premier League for the last four years, this is my opinion,” Flores told Sky Sports News. “When I was at Watford [first spell], I thought he was the best coach with the way he moves his team in regards to the way they play.
“Of course, it’s now difficult for him and the team. But for me, he is the best coach during the last four years in the Premier League.”

Whilst Sánchez Flores was talking about Pochettino being the ‘best coach’ in England’s top-flight during these past four years, Spurs’ best moment under their popular manager no doubt came in the Champions League.
First of all, reaching the final of the European Cup was a success in itself given that the club had not spent a penny on a player during the previous windows, and on top of that, the manner in which they reached Madrid was even more remarkable.
Whilst the Watford man was so complimentary of Pochettino, he will no doubt stop there because his team need some points on the board because they are the only side in the Premier League without a win this term.
