After parting ways with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink after just under a year, Queens Park Rangers fans are worried about where the future of their club lies.

The new QPR manager wasted no time in January, strengthening his squad with three highly-rated young players, Conor Washington, Matt Ingram and Abdenasser El Khayati.

However, after failing to tie together a good run of consistent results, Queens Park Rangers finished the season in 12th place.

Desperatly seeking an improvement on last season, Hasselbaink again strengthened in the summer transfer window, signing 11 players in total, including Brentford’s Jake Bidwell and Charlton’s Jordan Cousins.

However, after picking up only 5 wins from their first 15 games over August to October, Queens Park Rangers were again stagnating at the wrong end of the table, despite an impressive 3-0 win on the opening day against Leeds United.

With results not going well, Queens Park Rangers decided to make a managerial change, saying goodbye to Hasselbaink after just under 12 months, replacing him with former manager Ian Holloway.

After four defeats from his first five games, and only one win, Queens Park Rangers are starting to worry as to whether their club has again made a poor managerial decision. Despite their size and financial power, Queens Park Rangers are lingering dangerously towards the bottom of the league, and face a tough turnaround in 2017 if they want to finally start progressing.
