Queens Park Rangers beat Barnsley 2-1 at Loftus Road last night.

Queens Park Rangers supporters appear to be divided over the values of Idrissa Sylla.

Sylla was handed a start for Rangers last night and he impressed in their 2-1 victory over Barnsley.

The powerful forward scored QPR’s first goal in the contest, and his improving work rate earned him a lot of credit.

However, some QPR supporters are still yet to be convinced by Sylla’s value, and have called for him to be put back on the substitutes’ bench in Ian Holloway’s side’s next match.

Sylla now has eight goals for the season, which puts him at the top of QPR’s goalscoring charts.

The Guinean has previously been criticised for not working hard enough up-front, but he seems to be winning some of the Loftus Road crowd over.

Whether Sylla will start in QPR’s next match against Leeds United remains to be seen, as Holloway has tended to favour Matt Smith and Conor Washington.

QPR are currently in 14th place in the Championship table, after winning four of their last five matches.
