Queens Park Rangers defender Jack Robinson has only made five appearances for the club so far.
Ian Holloway has hinted to Queens Park Rangers’ official website that Jack Robinson could come back into his side in the near future.
Robinson’s career has been plagued with injury since he moved to QPR, but Holloway remains a big admirer of the left-back.
The 54-year-old boss started Robinson three times after taking charge at Loftus Road, but fitness problems have meant that the defender has not been able to play throughout 2017 to date.
Robinson is now edging closer to full health though, and Holloway has suggested that the former Liverpool man could still have a key part to play before the end of the campaign.
“Jack (Robinson) is getting closer all the time. He’s coming along well now,” Holloway said.
“I like him a lot and the sooner he’s 100 per-cent, the better for us.”
Robinson has been at QPR for two and a half years now, but he has only been able to play five times for the London side.
The 23-year-old has suffered badly with injury, and will hope for a prolonged spell off the treatment table – when he does return.
QPR are next in action at the weekend, when they take on struggling Rotherham United.
Rangers go into the game in good form, having won four of their last six matches.
