Queens Park Rangers appointed Ian Holloway to take over from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink earlier this week.

Queens Park Rangers ambassador Andy Sinton has expressed his delight at Ian Holloway’s appointment at Loftus Road.

Holloway has taken over from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at QPR, and held training for the first time this week.

Sinton is pleased to see the experienced manager back in charge of Rangers, and he is already looking forward to seeing whether Holloway can guide the London club to victory in his first match at the helm on Saturday.

QPR’s next match comes against Norwich City, and it looks set to be a tough test for Holloway’s new side.

Norwich have slipped up recently, but they remain one of the strongest teams in the Championship and will be determined to get their campaign back on track.

QPR, meanwhile, have made no secret of their desire to start moving up the Championship table and challenging for a top six spot.

As things stand, Rangers are in 17th place, and they are six points back from the play off places.
