Chuba Akpom and Lamare Bogarde have praised Ezri Konsa on Instagram after Aston Villa’s 1-0 win over Fulham on Tuesday night.
For the fifth home game in a row, Unai Emery’s side, not only secured maximum points, but a clean sheet, with Ezri Konsa playing a big part in that.
Someone like Tyrone Mings, who scored the only goal of the game against Fulham, might have got most of the headlines in recent years, but the man next to him deserves credit as well.

It has to be questioned why the former Brentford man hasn’t earned his England call because it is deserving.
Either way, Middlesbrough striker Chuba Akpom called Konsa ‘quality’ in the comments section of his IG post after that win over Fulham, whilst Villa academy product and Dutch youngster, Lamare Bogarde, told his teammate ‘Wanna be like you’.
KONSA AND MINGS BACK TO THEIR BEST
That’s 12 clean sheets for the season for Villa, as Konsa and Mings are back to their old form.
Two seasons ago, they secured 15 clean sheets and they have every chance of matching or surpassing that tally during these next few weeks.
If it does happen, then European nights will return to Villa Park once again, with the Midlands side sitting fifth in the Premier League table and on course to return to play against the elite.
