Liverpool selling Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Manchester United has been a topic of discussion this week.
Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool in a £40 million deal in 2017 but the former Arsenal attack is barely even a squad player under Jurgen Klopp any longer.
Leaving Anfield this summer is very probable and a shock transfer to Manchester United is reportedly on the cards.
According to talkSPORT, a move to Old Trafford is a possibility for the England international, who turns 29 in August.
Injuries have stifled Oxlade-Chamberlain’s progress at Liverpool, with one particular issue keeping him out for a year.

However, he has been consistently fit since 2019 and even still, cannot break into Klopp’s best XI on a regular basis.
Here’s what Manchester United icon Roy Keane said about the player this year.
He said to ITV: “Injury problems. He is now, what 28? His career has stalled over the last years. He has been left behind a little bit. But a quality player.”
As ever, Keane hit the nail on the head.
Oxlade-Chamberlain to Manchester United
Oxlade-Chamberlain – who is worried about his future on Merseyside – definitely qualifies as a ‘quality player’ but also one who has definitely been left behind at Liverpool.
As mentioned, you can’t blame it all on injuries because he’s been fit for most of the last three years.
Consistency was the former Southampton player’s problem at Arsenal and it appears as if the same problems have risen under the German manager at Anfield.
He desperately needs a transfer away this summer and for £10 million, well maybe Erik ten Hag at the Red Devils might take that gamble.
There’s little to lose and a lot to gain, if Oxlade-Chamberlain can rediscover his best form.
