West Ham United star Michail Antonio has praised Liverpool striker Divock Origi on Premier League Football (7:08pm, November 7, 2021).
What’s the story?
The West Ham striker was impressed by the way Origi took his goal at London Stadium last night.
The Belgian striker came on as a substitute and found the back of the net in the 83rd minute.
That goal gave Liverpool some hope of getting something from the Premier League game last night.
West Ham, though, held on and won 3-2.
Michail Antonio’s verdict
Antonio said on Premier League Football (7:08pm, November 7, 2021): “Divock Origi came off the bench, and it was a quality finish.”

Squad player at Liverpool
Origi may have scored a wonderful goal against West Ham, but the £60,000-a-week striker (Spotrac) is unlikely to start Liverpool’s next game.
That’s because the 26-year-old is a squad player at the Reds.
The Liverpool no. 27 has played only 16 minutes in the Premier League and 77 minutes in the Champions League so far this season.

During the 2020-21 campaign, Origi made seven starts in the Premier League and three starts in the Champions League.
We can understand why Origi does not get games for Liverpool.
After all, Liverpool have three of the best forward players in the world in Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Oh, there is also Diogo Jota.
