Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that West Ham United want to sign a ‘minimum of six players’ during the 2022 summer transfer window, as he told Sky Sports News.
The Sky reporter shared that it’s not just about the numbers for David Moyes in the summer transfer market, but ‘quality as well’.
Nayef Aguerd has arrived for a hefty fee of £34 million, as the Hammers make yet another return to Europe ahead of the 2022/23 season.

But who could join the centre-back? Well, Michail Antonio certainly needs some help up top, with Gianluca Scamacca being linked, alongside Jesse Lingard and Arnaut Danjuma.
All in all, these are exciting times for those in Claret and Blue, as Sheth shared this transfer message with the club’s fans.
“David Moyes wants at least six new players in this transfer window,” said Sheth.
“If you think about it, they lost four of their first-team squad at the end of last season in Mark Noble, Andriy Yarmolenko, Ryan Fredericks and David Martin. There are also a couple of loan players that have left as well.
“So, it’s all about numbers, first and foremost, Moyes not only wants numbers, but quality as well. We are looking at a minimum of six players coming into the London Stadium.”

DANJUMA WOULD BE A STATEMENT OF INTENT FROM WEST HAM
The two Davids sitting at the top of West Ham’s tree, alongside Karen Brady, aren’t exactly known to be an ambitious bunch.
But with Moyes punching above his weight, like he did at Everton, then perhaps they will push the boat out for the Scotsman in the transfer market.
Danjuma’s name has been thrown about, the versatile winger thrived in Villarreal colours last season, mainly in the Champions League, as Unai Emery’s side reached the semi-final, before being knocked out by Liverpool.
But could a return to England be on the cards for the former Bournemouth man? Well, if the Hammers want to stay in Europe, and beyond, then putting a strong fee down for Danjuma and getting him signed up would be a statement of intent.
