QPR travel to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday in what is expected to be a tough trip for Steve McClaren’s side

Queens Park Rangers travel to The Hawthorns this Saturday to face a West Bromwich Albion side who are looking for back-to-back league wins.
The Baggies put four past Norwich City last weekend, and will be looking to continue their detemined Carrow Road showing with a first home win of the campaign.
From a QPR perspective, boss Steve McClaren will know just how tough Saturday’s game will be, and it’s likely a change or two will be made after the Sheffield United defeat.
Matt Ingram is likely to take the gloves with Jake Bidwell, Joel Lynch, Toni Leistner and Osman Kakay making up the back four – but new signing Angel Rangel could start, depending if he’s match fit.

Expect Josh Scowen and Massimo Luongo to occupy defensive midfield, with Ebere Eze and Luke Freeman more advanced. Paul Smyth was given the right winger/forward slot last week, but Pawel Wzsolek has played himself into contention.
The winger was excellent in the Cup win over Peterborough, and QPR could certainly benefit from the 26-year-old’s inclusion. West Brom are going to attack from the off and apply pressure, so Wzsolek’s versatility down the right flank could prove crutial.

Matt Smith is likely to start as the lone striker, although Conor Washington will feel that he done enough during the week to at least be considered. The Northern Irish international was impressive against the Posh on Tuesday and he should feature at some stage in the game.
Rangers will do well to leave the West Midlands with a point – although a third straight Championship loss will be hard to take. Having said that, it’s still very early days and McClaren will be confident that he can turn things around.
