QPR manager Ian Holloway has told the club’s official website he is learning from errors he made as Blackpool boss.

Holloway says he is now adjusting his tactical approach game by game, after realising he was ‘found out’ with the Tangerines.

He led Blackpool to the Premier League in 2010, but they lasted just one season in the top flight after being relegated on the final day of the campaign.

Holloway explained: “The game has changed and you have to adapt. At Blackpool I felt I could do whatever I liked and everybody would have to bend and bow to stop us.

Holloway returned to management earlier this season at QPR, after a spell out of coaching.

In between Blackpool and QPR he spent time managing Crystal Palace and Millwall, who he left in 2015.

Blackpool have suffered a terrible time since their relegation from the Premier League, currently sitting in English football’s fourth tier, where they sit in 10th place.

Fans can only wonder what may have happened had Holloway not been so naive during their spell in the top flight.
