Jack Harrison and Tyler Roberts both scored as Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United cruised to a 2-0 win against Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers winger Marc Pugh has admitted to the Sun (4 November, pull-out page 18) that Mark Warburton’s side simply couldn’t cope with the ferocious Leeds United press during their 2-0 defeat at Elland Road on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side produced arguably their best performance of the season when promotion rivals QPR came to town. Jack Harrison, the much-maligned Manchester City loanee, provided a goal and an assist while defenders Liam Cooper and Ben White ensured the Rangers strikeforce of Nahki Wells and Jordan Hugill barely had a kick throughout.
And Pugh, who came on in the second half with QPR a goal down, has paid tribute to the energy and organisation of a Leeds side who have conceded just eight goals in 15 games in 2019/20.
“We didn’t create a lot because Leeds pressed us brilliantly,” the former Bournemouth ace claimed.

“But we know we’ve got a great squad with good, hungry players. We have just got to show a bit more belief coming to places like this.”
While QPR never really looked like testing Leeds goalkeeper Kiko Casilla, talisman Ebere Eze reminded everyone once again why he is arguably the most influential player in the Championship at the moment.
The Rangers number 10 looked unstoppable early on, floating around the pitch like a lanky Eden Hazard and drifting past tackles with consummate ease. But Leeds deserve immense credit for doubling down on Eze as the game went on as he faded out of the match.
