Queens Park Rangers, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Millwall are interested in Southend United midfielder Dru Yearwood, according to The Basildon Canvey Southend Echo.

It has been reported that QPR director of football Les Ferdinand watched Yearwood in action for Southend against Barnsley at Roots Hall in the second round of the FA Cup this past Saturday.

The report has claimed that Rangers’ Championship rivals Middlesbrough and Millwall, as well as Premier League club Palace are also interested in the 18-year-old.

Talented and promising

Yearwood is a hugely talented and promising young midfielder, and he would be a good signing for QPR, Palace, Middlesbrough or Millwall.

The 18-year-old may not be able to make an instant impact in the Championship or in the Premier League, but the teenager will certainly be a very good long-term signing for any club in those two divisions.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the English youngster has provided two assists in 10 League One appearances for Southend so far this season.

Southend are 14th in the League One table at the moment with 26 points from 20 matches.
