Jordan Cousins is set for a run of games over the festive period and the Queens Park Rangers man needs to impress.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Jordan Cousins has often been in and out of the starting XI since signing for the club in 2016, but now he has a chance to stake a claim as a first-team regular.
The former Charlton Athletic man found himself recalled to the side on Saturday after Geoff Cameron suffered a ligament injury at Leeds United last weekend, with the former set for a spell on the sidelines.
Cousins put in an admirable performance in the 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough, and it appears manager Steve McClaren will opt to keep him in the side until Cameron is back to full fitness.
With the festive period almost upon us, Cousins will need to demonstrate what he is all about with the games coming thick and fast. Having featured 12 times in the Championship this term, he has enough minutes under his belt to make a lasting impression.

Cousins has generally struggled when given a chance, but McClaren will need to provide him with the confidence to go out and perform to his full capabilities. Rangers fans have often been divided over Cousins’ inclusion but now is the time to get behind him.
Nottingham Forest are next up this weekend and QPR have never won at the City Ground, something Cousins and co. will be keen to amend. It will be no easy task, however, so Cousins will know just how vital his input needs to be on Saturday.
