Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker has joked on Twitter that Harry Redknapp is set to sign Jermain Defoe ‘for the 76th time.’
The QPR boss has been linked with a January move for Defoe, having signed him both during his time at Spurs and Portsmouth.
And Lineker has taken the opportunity to make a joke about the impending reunion of the former Tottenham duo.
Yun Suk-Young
QPR left-back Yun Suk-Young has received an international call-up to the South Korea side.
The 24-year-old defender has been superb for the R’s so far this Premier League campaign.
Karl Henry
Meanwhile, midfielder Karl Henry is encouraged by the fact that QPR won’t play a better team this season than the Chelsea side they have just faced.
“I see these games as no-lose games for us,” he told reporters. “Against Chelsea we were up against the best team by a – I don’t want to say mile, because now we’ve got Man City. But I don’t think we’ll play a better team than Chelsea.”
