The QPR stopper is hoping to spoil Leeds’ day.

Leeds United take on QPR this weekend with the Yorkshire club looking to show off their improvement from the start of the season.
Leeds lost 3-0 in what was Garry Monk’s first game in charge, leaving Leeds fans dreading another poor season in the Championship.
But since then they have been excellent and are currently fighting for promotion from the second-tier.
QPR meanwhile have struggled. New QPR manager Ian Holloway, who replaced Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in November, has steadied the ship slightly and relegation is no longer a serious concern.
With that in mind the club feel they are in a golden position for the weekend, with all the pressure on Leeds.
Alex Smithies, the QPR goalkeeper, certainly believes so.
He told the Brent and Kilburn Times this week:
“There’s no pressure on us now in terms of what we have to play for. It’s just about getting as many points as possible and pushing up towards the top end of the table. That would be a nice end to the season.
“We’re off the back of a good run so there’s no pressure going into the game. We can just play our way, work hard and hopefully spoil their day.
“Every game is big for us but we want to push on up the table so we just want to win every game.”

Leeds United are undoubtedly the team under more pressure, with more to lose, but they also have more to play for.
Leeds manager Garry Monk has installed a brilliant ethos into the Leeds team this season and pressure does not look to be telling on the so far.
After the 3-0 defeat on the opening day, Leeds will be looking for revenge and will no doubt be confident of picking up all three points against Smithies’ QPR.
