A number of Queens Park Rangers fans have been commenting on Twitter following their 3-0 Championship defeat away at Cardiff City and despite the criticism of numerous players, one was highly praised for his efforts.

Eberechi Eze put in another great display for QPR with some slick passing and several good efforts, including a curling shot which struck the post and bounced clear as Mark Warburton’s charges sought to find an equaliser at one down.

The 21-year-old’s display was one of few positive for Rangers as they were outclassed by the Bluebirds, who led through two first half set-piece goals, Sean Morrison heading home before a Marlon Pack tap-in on the stroke of half time, while Callum Paterson wrapped things up on 72 minutes.

Here is what some QPR on social media said about Eze’s performance:

Eze was previously with Millwall but joined the QPR academy in the summer of 2016, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at £3.2million.
