A number of Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that two of their Championship fixtures in December have been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports.

As confirmed by the QPR website, the trip to Birmingham City will be shown live, but this is as part of a co-exclusive selection and the date of Wednesday 11 December and start time of 7.45pm remain unchanged.

However, the Boxing Day clash between QPR and Reading at the Madejski Stadium – previously set for a 3pm kickoff – will now kick off at 7.30pm.

In addition, as both games have been selected for live television coverage, the Loftus Road will not be permitted to stream them live on QPR+ – live audio commentary will be available for both.

Here is what some QPR fans said on social media:

The R’s were held to a 2-2 draw by the Royals at Loftus Road on Tuesday night, and following the midweek games, they now sit fifth in the Championship table.
